Gasoline direct injection engines - ==Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI)==
Gasoline direct injection - Gasoline direct injection or GDI is a variant of fuel injection employed in modern four stroke petrol engines. The gasoline is injected right into the combustion chamber of each cylinder, as opposed to conventional multi point fuel injection that happens in the intake manifold.
Gasoline - Gasoline is a petroleum-derived liquid mixture consisting primarily of hydrocarbons, used as fuel in internal combustion engines.
Hybrid vehicle - A hybrid vehicle uses multiple propulsion systems to provide motive power. This most commonly refers to gasoline-electric hybrid vehicles, which use gasoline (petrol) and electric batteries to power internal-combustion engines (ICEs) and electric motors.
