Spherical aberration - [plane] [sections] In optics, spherical aberration is an image imperfection that occurs due to the increased refraction of light rays that occurs when rays strike a lens or mirror near its edge, in comparison with those that strike nearer the center. It is often considered to be an imperfection of telescopes and other instruments which makes their focusing less than ideal due to the spherical shape of lenses and mirrors.
21st Century Airships - 21st Century Airships is a company that makes spherical airships. The spherical shape has advantages for low-velocity craft used for heavy lift and high altitude craft including stratospheric airships.
Polyteichus - The zooaria of Polyteichus are primitive representatives of bryozoans in order of the Cryptostomata are spherical in shape, semi-spherical or disc shaped. The zooecia are wide prism shaped, and there are only two types, the Acanthocladia and the Polypora.
Globular cluster - A globular cluster is a spherical bundle of stars (star cluster) that orbits a galaxy as a satellite. Globular clusters are very tightly bound by gravity, which gives them their spherical shape, and extreme density (in relative terms) towards their core.
Cupola - A spherical ceiling, or a bowl-shaped vault, rising like an inverted cup over a circular, square, or multangular building or any part of it.
Design e - Makes unusual spherical shape and curvy loudspeaker. UK.
